More Times and More Locations for 2009

FAST is Happy to Announce that we will be expanding our practice time and locations to accomodate our growing team. This year, in addition to Health Nutz, we will be adding practice times at the 25 meter, 6 lane, outdoor pool at Camp Friendship. We are excited about this partnership and look forward to accomodating more swimmers this year.

Please see that attached flyer for the specific times. We will accept registrations for the summer team at any of our remaining Stroke Clinic Sessions. Stroke Clinics are held at Health Nutz from 3 pm - 5 pm on the following weekends: May 2nd, 16th, and 30th. In addition we will be at Fluvanna's Kite Day event at Pleasant Grove on Saturday May 16th or they can be mailed to the team post office box.

Families that register early will be invited to attend our Sunday Stroke Clinic Sessions as winter warm-ups.

We hope to see you at a FAST Event soon.

 

JSL Summer Season Schedule Announced

It isn't too early to start getting excited about FAST's summer swim season. Last year FAST turned in outstanding performances at the championship meet to earn them the right to compete in the Tier 1 level of JSL competition. We are excited to move into this new division and take on some of the legendary powerhouses of the JSL. The .pdf attachment below shows the summer swim team schedules that have been approved by the JSL board. Mark the calendar now and get ready for some FAST swimming!

FAST Splash Swim Clinic

Join us beginning March 14th to discover the thrill that comes from being a safe, confident and experienced swimmer. This is a terrific opportunity for your child to learn and perfect their skills to become a stronger, safer, and more confident swimmer. Our kids learn to love this lifelong sport while working with our talented assistant coaches and our head coach who is regarded as one of the finest stroke technicians in Virginia. In FAST's three seasons, hundreds of brand new swimmers learned all four strokes in our swim clinics. They continued to improve and have fun through the season and were instrumental in helping FAST become Division 3 champions at the JSL championship meets in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
