The FAST Swim team hosts its home swim meets at the Louisa Aquatics Facility at 530 Industrial Park in Louisa, VA.

The Tuesday 5:15 Practice at Camp Friendship is being consolidated with the 6:00 practice and moved to 6:15 - 7:15 at Camp Friendship. This move is being made to accommodate the start of campers at Camp Friendship. This will affect only the Tuesday practice schedule but all Tuesday practices for the rest of the season.

Camp Friendship has also asked us to remember to utilize the service delivery entrance and to respect the speed limit on this road. Now that camp is in session there will be a lot more pedestrian traffic and the campers may not be expecting our pool traffic.

We had a great turn out for our intrasquad meet. The swimmers, coaches, and parents did a great job getting ready for it. The kids finished the warm ups in style! It was too bad the weather did not cooperate but the rain did not dampen the team spirit which was running very high. It was great seeing everyone after the meet at the Country Store for ice cream.

 

The summer fun is just beginning. This Sunday (06/07) the team is going down to the Fork Union Drive In Movie Theater to watch a double header featuring Hotel for Dogs and Monsters vs. Aliens. You will want to get there early and bring blankets. Please wear your team shirts if you have them so the kids can find you.

 

This Wedensday the team travels to the City of Charlottesville pool to swim our first dual meet of the season. Evites will be emailed shortly to confirm if you are coming to the meet. Please click the link in the email and respond if you are or are not coming. There are a limited number of lanes for the swimmers and we want to get in as many swims for each swimmer as possible.
