Winter Swimming Starts tomorrow At Camp Friendship

Practice starts tomorrow at Camp Friendship.  Jaunt transportation is available by calling Debbie Taylor (296-3184 ext 118) on a first come first serve basis for $1 per day. We will offer Presenior / Senior work out times 4:30 and 6:00.  For Blue and Presenior swimmers who need morning workouts please contact us and we will schedule them upon request.

The water temperature is being maintained at 80 degrees or more.    We will be teaching all of our athletes to keep their shoulders down in the water to stay warm.  This is very important on days were the air temperature is below 80 or there is wind.  Please help us remind your swimmers.

Once you have selected the athlete, you need to select on of the three following practice location options:  morning, afternoon, or evening.

Next you will need to select the practice group and scroll all the way down to the end of the listing to click the  Register the Member to the Selected Group button.

Join us for registration and informational parents meeting on Wednesday, September 9th or Friday, September 11th if you are interested in swimming with us during the winter.  The meetings will be held at the following locations:

Preseason Fall Stroke Clinic

Directions To Camp Friendship Pool

Practicing at Camp Friendship but not exactly sure of the pool location? Below are listed directions from North or South on Route 15. They are asking us to use the rear entrance marked for Deliveries and Horse Trailer Entrance.

Camp Friendship Map

From Route 15 north out of Palmyra,

Take Route 15 North past the old Palmyra Elementary and turn LEFT unto Friendship Road (You will see sign for Camp Friendship and Golf Resort).

Follow Friendship Road past the main entrance to the camp (4/10 of a mile) and turn left unto Friendship Way - this will be a dirt road and should be marked with a sign that says "Deliveries and Horse Trailer Entrance).

Follow Friendship Way 8/10 of a mile. Park in the Grassy area across from the Horse Training Arena (you will see old trailers for Camp Friendship Stables)

Walkway to Pool Entrance is just on the right past the arena.
